How to Monetize Your Website with Ad Unit Pro Software

To generate additional income through your website by displaying

advertisements, you need to follow two essential steps:

  1. 1. Setup Ad Management Script: Install and configure the Ad Unit Pro software to manage and serve ads on your site.

  1. 2. Prepare Your Website: Create new web pages or update existing ones to ensure they are equipped to display ads properly. This may involve integrating specific code snippets from Ad Unit Pro into your website's HTML.

By completing these steps, you can start leveraging Ad Unit Pro to monetize your web presence effectively. Download the Ad Unit Pro software today to get started.

Step 1: Add Special Text to Your Pages

To have your web pages display ads, you must insert special text within them. Place the text %%advert%% wherever you would like an ad to be shown on your page. This tag can be used multiple times as desired. Once you have inserted the necessary tags, simply upload your pages to your web host in the usual manner.

Step 2: Link Your Pages to Your Ad Management Script

In addition to configuring your ad management script, you must ensure your websites or updated web pages can display your ads.

Using the HTML Page Tool

For sites utilizing HTML pages, ensure your web host supports .htaccess files, as this is essential. The HTML Page Tool available below assists in creating a special .htaccess script that integrates with your ad management script, injecting ads into your HTML pages. Upload this script to the same directory as your web pages for seamless ad integration.

Additional Steps for PHP Pages

If your website contains PHP pages, special code needs to be inserted at the beginning of each PHP file. This requirement can be fulfilled by using the tool mentioned below, which facilitates the insertion of necessary code. After applying the changes, upload the modified files to the same location as your homepage.

Important Notes:

    • Keep the HTML checkbox unchecked, as it is now obsolete.

    • You can manage ads across multiple sites with your ad management script. When operating on a single site, use the value 0 for Site Number. For managing multiple sites, refer to the section on Managing Multiple Sites for more information.

    • It's possible to process all PHP files within the same folder, including subfolders, by selecting the appropriate checkbox. For individual file processing, leave the checkbox unchecked.

    • Up to 12 scripts can be accommodated, with the naming convention starting at _htmodule1.php and incrementing for each additional script, up to _htmodule12.php.

    • Use the _htaccess, _htmain.php, _htmain2.php, and _htinclude.php files from any script pack, as they are interchangeable among scripts.

Installing Other Scripts on the Same Site

If you possess additional scripts that use the same file naming system (_htaccess, _htmain.php, _htmain2.php, _htinclude.php, and _htmodule1.php), they can also be deployed on the same website. Upload these files to the same directory as your homepage. This setup facilitates the incorporation of ads across all HTML pages within your site, including those in subfolders.
